The Solution

2020 was one of the most difficult years for businesses. Adapting your business in a crisis situation is tough. The first step is to look at the market and how that is changed and secondly, to look at customers and how they respond to it.

For Chess Moving, it was a big change as a lot of their business was International moves. With the borders closed, it affected their business directly. Consumer perspective had changed, in the sense that people were now moving residential homes from one state to another or employees were moving their desktops and office things to their homes.

To leverage these consumers, DDSN installed a pop-up notification form on the Chess Moving website with clear messaging about opening and restrictions. The form securely collected information on the health status of customers to ensure employee safety.

This ensured that consumers that visited the website would see the COVID-19 safety declaration first, to instill trust and confidence in their minds when working with Chess.

The Result

Even though the market is slow as compared to before the pandemic, leveraging the website to convey important and relevant information, like a COVID-19 safety declaration, really helped Chess Moving to continue operating in these tough times.

The pop-up notification made sure that customers are seeing it the first time they land on the website and are assured that their move will be performed safely.
