New College which is a residential community of UNSW and it needed to redesign its website and upgrade its CMS.
New College is an undergraduate residential community on the campus of UNSW. There is also a postgraduate community New College Village for mature age students pursuing further studies a the University of New South Wales Sydney.
In 2019 the two colleges came to DDSN to create a Community website to serve both colleges. The New College Communities needed to give residents, parents, alumni, supporters, and other stakeholders in the community information about college applications, events and activities in a comprehensive and visually engaging manner.
The brand of UNSW as well as the brand of the two colleges needed to remain distinct in a joint presentation.
DDSN Interactive designed and developed an integrated, mobile friendly marketing and communications web presence with highly secure hosting, and continuous improvement support to cater to the New College’s exact needs and preferences.
The website features syndicated content including testimonials and news displaying relevant content and enhancing the user experience of different audiences in different areas of the site. A built in flip-book displays the college magazines and a virtual tour is embedded right within the pages.
We included a merchandise shop, donation portal, email marketing and advanced forms capability right into the website by deploying cm3 Acora CMS.
The New College Community benefits from having a digital platform, not just a website.
At DDSN we are personally committed to excellence for the outcome of all our projects.
Due to our thorough development process, we were able to deliver on the complex project objectives efficiently. Most importantly, we made sure to not create the new website in isolation of New College Communities’ other communications efforts. We believe strongly that every user’s experience of interacting with the college should be just as smooth and easy no matter where they are, or which device they’re using
We continue to work with New College, enhancing the Alumni network, improving the Search Engine Optimisation of the site and channelling relevant traffic to the CASE website.
